Video: Giorgos Giakoumakis’ first interview as a Celtic player

Giorgos Giakoumakis signed for Celtic earlier today on a five-year deal. The Greek Internationalist scored 29 goals in 32 appearances for VVV Venlo and finished top scorer in the Eredivisie.

The player spoke of his delight at joining Celtic in an interview with Celtic TV.

He is the tenth signing of this window with Jota arriving as the eleventh this evening; however, hopefully, there are some more as Celtic look to strengthen in the final hours of the window.

Celtic announced that Leigh Griffiths had joined Dundee in a season long loan as Odsonne Edouard nears a move away from the club. This will leave Kyogo and Albian Ajeti to compete with Giakoumakis for a place in the Celtic team under Postecoglou.

Welcome to Celtic, Giorgos!
