Amy Gallacher, the great grand daughter of Celtic legend Patsy Gallacher tapped home the second goal of the evening in the opening moments of this crucial SWPL1 Glasgow Derby match at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie.
A Caitlin Hayes header gave Celtic the lead at the interval and it was expected that the current Champions who haven’t lost since a league match since June 2021 would throw everything at Fran Alonso’s side in the second half but it was Gallacher who was in the perfect spot to make the score Celtic 2 theRangers 0.
A win this evening will take Celtic to the top of the league, and give the Hoops a 4 points lead over theRangers…
