Video: Happy Birthday To The King

315 games, 242 goals, seven superb years – Henrik Larsson is the King of Kings.

It’s hard to believe that the Super Swede is now 49 years of age. It seems like yesterday that he was banging in goals against Europe’s elite, not only for Celtic, but for Barcelona and Manchester United too.

Larsson needs no introduction. For my generation he is the first hero that many of us would have had in football. For those of an older age group, Henrik was the biggest icon since Kenny Dalglish.

A serial winner, with a Champions League medal in his collection, Henrik Larsson is voted the second greatest Celt of all time.

It goes without saying that we offer him congratulations and best wishes. He will always be a Celtic legend.
