Video: Highlights from Celtic B’s win at Berwick Rangers and Tommy McIntyre’s Post Match Reaction

Enjoy the highlights from Shiefield Park as Tommy McIntyre’s squad cross the border to go against Berwick Rangers in the Scottish Lowland League…Berwick Rangers of course famously knocked Rangers out of the Scottish Cup in 1967! Just thought that it’s worth a mention.

First half goals from Owen Moffat and MacKenzie Carse gave Celtic a 2-0 interval lead and despite the home side coming into the game in the second half the young Celts held out to bring the three points up the road from England. Next up for the Celtic B team is the match against Spartans in the Scottish Lowland League.

A special mention for Celtic’s England youth international goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi who withstood the Berwick Rangers second half pressure to keep a clean sheet, quite a week for the keeper who of course was on the bench in Budapest on Thursday evening in the Europa League Group stages win over Ferencvaros.

Here is Tommy McIntyre’s post match reaction. The Celtic B manager was certainly very pleased with both the result and his side’s performance as they seem to be getting to grips with life in the Lowland league after a difficult and inconsistent start.
