The Celtic Star was at the match and has provided you with both a detailed match report and comprehensive post match coverage as Celtic fought back from a goal down at the internal to win 2-1 and book a place in the final against Glasgow City on Sunday 5 December at Firhill.

We described Fran Alonso running down the touchline like a madman when Charlie Welling scored the late Celtic winner and when you watch the video, keep your eye on the bottom of the screen and you’ll get a great laugh as the bold Fran flies past!

To lift the cup Celtic will have to do it the hardest way possible, beating current league leaders theRangers away from home in the quarter finals before knocking out the four in a row cup holders Hibs in Sunday’s semi-final to set up a final against the SWPL Champions Glasgow City.

Hibs have attracted over 5000 fans for an Edinburgh Derby against Hearts earlier in the season and Hearts are aiming to beat that record when Hibs visit Tynecastle shortly. Our question to the Celtic Support is can we beat these numbers by selling out Firhill and roaring Fran Alonso’s side on to cup glory?

We call ourselves the best supporters in the world – and we’ve every reason to do so. Let’s show our Celtic FC Women some backing Bhoys and Ghirls and get behind the team for the Cup Final. They’ve got to the final the hard way and as Tommy Gemmell once said: “What will remain consistent, though, is the Celtic support and with those guys behind you anything is possible.”
