Celtic kicked off the Ange Postecoglou era with a 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday earlier today. Goals from Albian Ajeti, Owen Moffat and Odsonne Edouard cancelled out an early opener from Josh Windass from The Owls.
The game is the first of the pre-season games as the Australian prepares his side for the beginning of the season. The team were building from the back and outwith that awkward opening start, the team offers a lot of promise going forward.
The manager will look forward to getting some more players in the door as the intensity picks up. Charlton Athletic are the opponents on Saturday and hopefully we see some more first-teamers in the squad.
