Video: Hilarious – McNamara shares Bobo Balde’s Barcelona story

Former Celtic captain Jackie McNamara has shared a brilliant story about Bobo Balde. The big defender was renowned for his powerful play and even more so for his hard man persona.

In a clip that has resurfaced on Twitter, McNamara spoke about an incident at half time in the win over Barcelona. The Guiana Internationalist caught a sore one from Motta, which led to him remaining in the tunnel to settle the score at the break…

The reactions from McNamara and MON are hilarious.

Douglas would be sent off and Craig Beattie was replaced by David Marshall, who was brilliant in the second half as well as the away leg. Balde, who escaped the referee’s red card, was excellent as Alan Thompson’s goal settled the affair on a memorable night for Martin O’Neill’s team.
