Video: “How can Celtic Park become a UCL fortress once again? TNT Sports

“Between 2001/02 – 2012/13, Celtic won 15 of their 21 UCL group stage matches at home, losing just once. Despite big performances against Atletico and Lazio, they’re still waiting on a first UCL home win in 10 years. How can Celtic Park become a UCL fortress once again? TNT Sports asks in this video…

TNT Sports released a just over six minute long video this morning looking at Celtic Park in the Champions League nights and considering How Celtic have gone from winning 15 from 21 home group stage matches between 2001/02 season and 2012/13 to not having won a home match in the Group stages of the Champions League for a decade.

Brendan Rodgers, Neil Lennon and Greg Taylor together with some Celtic supporters provide the insight in what is a brilliant watch. Some great points are made, especially about Celtic falling behind by not being in the Champions League every season.

Ange Postecoglou talked lots about that last year saying that the club need to make sure we qualifying every season in order to be able to compete.

The signs are there and for the next Group stage match against Feyenoord at Celtic Park in December there will be great optimism that on Wednesday 13 December ‘This will be the day that we in at home’ – let’s hope so.
