Video: “I should have taken another week off,” Ange irritated by mainstream media

Ange Postecoglou was back on media duties today after taking a rest last week with Assistant manager John Kennedy standing in. The format at these media conferences allows the broadcast media to ask their questions ahead of the Celtic fan media who usually come in at the end.

Today Ange’s response to the two groups, not for the first time, was markedly different with perhaps the first question on Kyogo’s injury being the only from the mainstream media that didn’t irritate the Celtic manager. They asked Ange about what Mick Beale has been saying now, and the latest lacking in wisdom words from David Martindale and even about what the Green Brigade are currently thinking.

“What’s probably clear is I should have taken another week off,” Ange Postecoglou remarked in response to one of these questions.

Then the football questions came at the end from the Celtic fan media and as a fine football man, Ange Postecoglou was more than willing to engage and provide interesting football answers to questions about football. Watch this exchange for yourselves…
