Video: “It was disappointing. I didn’t think we gave a good account ourselves today” Ange Postecoglou

Just back from Livingston, dreadful performance after they scored. Celtic frankly never looked like scoring and there are now major question marks over some of these players and indeed to overall plan at the club. We have now lost all three of our away games in the Scottish Premiership and it isn’t going to get any easier with our next away days at Pittodrie and Fir Park.

On top of these three league losses on the road – which leaves us pointless in the league (0/9) and as a club we have not won away from home since Valentine’s Day a dreadful run that takes in three managers – Neil Lennon, interim boss John Kennedy and now Ange Postecoglou – we have lost in Denmark, Holland and Spain in European football and of course there were pre-season friendly defeats at Celtic Park to West Ham and Preston. THIS IS CELTIC! FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE!

Here’s Ange Postecoglou’s post-match interview with Celtic TV after the latest defeat at Livingston.

  1. I for one have seriously lost heart after that performance this morning including the nothing we’re getting from the bench Ange standing with arms folded throughout the game and the other muppets sitting doing nothing. After watching for well over an hour he puts 3 like for like subs, can you not see it wasn’t working and as for James McCarthy he wouldn’t have connected with a pass to a Celtic player if we would have played till midnight. We have lost to 3 teams, one newly promoted, one hit with covid inc their first 2 keepers out and finally today a team with one point so far. We have gone backwards in last few weeks and the fly on top of the dog crap is we get a striker who isn’t ready to play even though we lost 2 strikers. It takes me half an hour to drive home from my Celtic club here and thought it would give me time to calm down and it probably has but im still sick to my stomach.

    • Who do think should have come on that wasn’t like for like ,,given the mediocre candidates on the bench.?

  2. So the new signings ,Jota,Abada, McCarthy CCV, Juranovic ,and Hart are all duds ? The rest that played we already knew they were hopeless.
