We all know that Jonny Hayes isn’t getting anywhere near this team if everyone is fit, but that doesn’t mean that he has nothing to offer.
He might look out of place against a poor team where Celtic need some quality to break them down, but in a game where energy and effort is needed, he can be effective.

It’s moments like that that show why Lenny likes to have him around, even if most of the fans don’t get excited by his presence on the field.
There’s still the chance he could have a stinker in the second half, but he’s certainly justified his selection so far.
