There have been a lot of comparisons made by Celtic fans, between Alistair Johnston and Josip Juranovic. Both have impressed in the Hoops and it’s fair to say that the right back position is not a worry for Ange Postecoglou at all.
However, there are some weapons in Josip’s armoury that are unique. He is a good penalty taker, which is something Celtic always struggle to find, and he is an even better striker of free kicks.
Juranovic didn’t hit too many Free kicks in his time at Parkhead, but he’s been given the opportunity to do so since moving to Germany. The Croatian has found the net with some outrageous strikes. Last weekend was no different, as he dispatched the ball into the top corner from 25 yards.
