Video: Jota scores for Celtic, 1-1 in Germany

Jota has equalised for Celtic against RB Leipzig. Having picked up the Man of the Match award versus Shakhtar Donetsk, the former Benfica winger showed his composure as Ange’s men drew level.

Hatate found Kyogo with a first time pass, who drew the defenders as Jota supported him. The Japanese striker knew where he was and placed the pass to him, allowing his colleague to slot the ball into the net.

Much like Leipzig’s goal in the first half, Celtic’s goal came on the break and the manager will hope his side can add to their tally.

  1. Ange says it’s a learning curve in the champions league, well the only guy at Celtic not learning is Ange!!

I said before kick off we should have played Abilgaard from the start with Cal and what was evident was we had no centre midfield even when Cal was on the park. Abilgaard has been there for 5 weeks but no match sharpness. Only one person to blame for that, Ange!

Also Maeda, the worst player on the park in 3 champions league games. He seems blinded buy this. Maeda is pishh!!!

Play Haksabanovic, again 5 weeks and hardly any game time. It has to be asked, what is Ange doing???

  2. Belief is everything in football.
If you do not believe you will not win. It is that simple.
If you look at a lot of Champions League winning teams there are ties/matches where bekief is forged within the team unit.
Liverpool v St Etiene, Nottingham Forrest v Liverpool, Real Madrid v PSG.
Tactics rake you know so far but having belief in those tactics and more importantly the ability and the steely resolve to see it through is the big issue we face.
For decades the true inner belief has been missing. A manager can only take players so far but the final step has to be taken by themselves collectively, and that is the hardest step of all.
