Video: Jota sends Celtic ahead again after Aberdeen score two quick goals

Celtic have restored their lead after a manic few minutes at Pittodrie. Goals from Christian Ramirez and Lewis Ferguson pulled the Dons level before Jota scored his second goal of the evening to make it 3-2.

Aberdeen pulled one back after Christian Ramirez fired in after a clever set-piece manoeuvre by Stephen Glass’ side. Callum McGregor was, perhaps harshly, adjudged to have handled a cross allowing Aberdeen to take a free-kick in a dangerous area. As a number of the taller players made their way into the box.

Minutes later, Celtic conceded through a Lewis Ferguson header. Jota tracked back and earned a yellow card for a trip on Ross McCrorie. The Portuguese star didn’t dwell too much on this as went into the box and smashed the ball into the nets just seconds after the restart.

Ramirez had the ball in the net again but the linesman had already put up his flag. Celtic need to take the game by the scruff of the neck again having lost a 2-0 lead in a must-win game before retaking it. Any more lapses in concentration could see points being dropped which would be a real worry given how dominant Ange Postecoglou’s side have been in this match.

Just the fright celtic need alright aberdeen scored two goals can’t understand Taylor standing behind fereguson should be ralston on near post ready to come out for a cross like that but passing second half was poor but done what was needed on a bad surface I think aberdeen gave the groundsman a week off
