On this day in 1998, history was made as Celtic beat St Johnstone 2-0 at Paradise to stop the ten. Goals from Henrik Larsson and Harald Brattbakk ensured that a decade of pain was over and a first league title was delivered since the Centenary season.
A pitch invasion followed the full time whistle in an outpouring of relief, whilst a thunderous rendition of You’ll Never Walk Alone reverberated around the stadium.
