Video: Kyogo equalises for Celtic with late goal

Kyogo grabbed a crucial equaliser for Celtic with a composed finish in the dying stages of the game at Ibrox. Aaron Mooy was picked out by Jota, who worked together to get the ball to Giakoumakis, who had his shot blocked only for the Japanese striker to strike the ball high into the net.

Ryan Kent and James Tavernier (penalty) had put Rangers ahead in the space of a hectic few second half minutes. Celtic have huffed and puffed since and received their reward with an equaliser. There was a shout for a penalty after replays appeared to show Connor Goldson use his hands to block an effort from Carl Starfelt but VAR and John Beaton said no.

  1. Lubo … Rangers died , quite a few years ago now ,…..haven’t you heard ? You been asleep for 10 years . That iteration you watched this afternoon are Sevco , or therangers , either would be correct .

  2. been saying since he joined that Starfelt is a liability! No change there! Why couldn’t he have caught the “bug”? VERY poor performance overall, but luckily still 9 points clear. VAR doin what we all knew/ expected of it .. needs called out more, glad Sutton still doin it, at least
