Video: Kyogo gives Celtic the lead

Celtic go into the half time break at Pittodrie with a 1-0 lead thanks to Kyogo Furuhashi’s opener. The Japanese forward threw himself onto the end of a David Turnbull cross to make it 1-0 to the Celts.

Ange Postecoglou will be delighted that his side have taken the lead but may be a tad unhappy that they haven’t managed to push on for a second. Celtic have limited Aberdeen’s movements forward and the manager will hope that the second half can bring some more goals and three points back to Glasgow.

  1. There are major issues at the club if that is the best first 11 we have,
Still to be convinced by GK. I think he must have got told in the 1st half to stop playing from the back, because quite frankly, we are no good at it. He started sending the ball long after about 25mins in the first half.
Defence is shaky, very shaky…..and needs to changed.
RB and LB are not up to the job…..in fact young Ralston appears to have a left foot for balance only.
Centre backs are worrying and no obvious leader.
Bitton again missed his chance to be a major figure in the middle of the park….does he move back into defence?
McCarthy cannot still be up to speed, and is that is a worry
Abada flits in and out of games, but Jota continues give hope for the future.
I do not understand kyogo being moved to the left….for ajeti who hardly touched the ball when he came on
Rogic made the difference and gave us a foothold in the 2nd half.
A win is a win, but this is not the type of play that we should be producing.
