Video: Kyogo puts Celtic 1-0 up with a quarter of an hour gone

Celtic star Kyogo Furuhashi has grabbed his second goal in as many weeks; following up on last week’s opener at Kilmarnock, the Japan international has given Ange Postecoglou’s men the lead against Hearts after just fifteen minutes at Celtic Park.

The Bhoys have dominated the ball so far with 66 per cent possession, and that early pressure has been capitalised on to send the Hoops – as it stands – two points clear at the top of the table.

Some beautiful work down the right-hand side saw Daizen Maeda create an acre of space, and he squared the ball to his fellow countryman who could not miss.

  1. This Celtic team looks like they could score at will with a bit more composure.

Jota needs to beat his man once and move forward rather than checking his run giving a defender a second bite.

A good team, a CL team, will exploit this defense’s lack of numbers & width on the counter.

That said, an entertaining first half and looking forward to the second.
