The official UEFA Champions League Japanese Twitter page has today uploaded something of a random rewind as they included a video of Nakamura’s famous match winning free kick against Manchester United, from way back in 2006. However, the footage had a twist in that Kyogo Furuhashi was filmed watching the video on a tablet.
We don’t have any Japanese speaking experts at The Celtic Star, but it’s fair to say that Kyogo looks both shocked and impressed by his compatriot’s goal.
It must inspire the players of today to replicate such results and special moments in European competition.
