Video: Lambert & Lubo’s Wondergoal, Wright’s Hilarious Celebration

On this day in 1999, Celtic travelled to Pittodrie and demolished Aberdeen 6-0. It’s hard to believe that the game is now 21 years old, but the enjoyment of viewing the highlights is no less.

Paul Lambert opened the scoring with an outstanding strike in the postage stamp, Mahe added a second and then Lubo scored an absolutely magnificent goal after toying with the Aberdeen defender. Viduka and Blinker scored simple goals and Wright converted well to round off the scoring, though it was his hilarious celebration that was more memorable.
