Video: Massive sitter as Maeda strikes the post

Daizen Maeda missed a glorious chance to draw Celtic level on the latter stages of this evening’s game at Tannadice. The Scottish Champions went ahead early through a great goal from the Japanese attacker but two goals in quick succession in the second half saw Jim Goodwin’s side go ahead.

For all of Celtic’s possession and chances in the first half, they have been scrambling to get back into the game. Wilfried Nancy will have been scratching his head as to how Maeda missed. James Forrest’s cross arrived at the back post with a Maeda arriving, and striking the post.

  1. Johnny Kenny missed even more. Anyone calling him a “striker” knows nothing about football. If we had a proper striker the game would have been done and buried beyond United’s reach in the first half.

Disgraceful defending also added to the latest humiliation. I knew we were f@cked as soon as i seen Schmeichel, Yang and Kenny in the starting eleven.

Never mind, there is some hope on the horizon, we get to play Auchinleck Talbot several weeks from now. Mind you, i wouldn’t put money on a Celtic win.

If we manage to finish 4th in the league it will be some achievement at this rate. Disgraceful!
