Former Celtic captain and manager Neil Lennon didn’t cover himself in glory in the build up to Celtic’s game against Hearts. The Irishman was in the Sky Sports studio with James McFadden, Ryan McGowan and Kris Boyd before the table topping clash at Tynecastle.
Before the game, Lennon appeared to double up with Boyd to dismiss Chris Sutton’s points about the club’s poor transfer window and subsequent call for change.
Extraordinary from the Chuckle brothers this… the recruitment is the primary reason why Celtic have been sluggish at the start of the season and why there is all the unrest right now 👇👇 https://t.co/Iig4sp1jDR

Sutton was bang on in his comments and it was no surprise that Boyd was trying to go up against him. The surprise came from Lennon trying to dismiss the concerns of Celtic supporters.
It will be interesting to see what Brendan makes of Lennon’s comments.

Neil Lennon hang your head in shame. You should focus on improving the poor job you are doing at Dunfermline – you no longer represent our club.
Lennon is doing an awful lot of brown-nosing to ‘The Board’. Makes me think he’s trying to set himself up as a candidate for Rodgers’ job when he leaves. Disgustingly embarrassing behaviour from someone who should know better.
Lennon is a poor manager with his level af Dunfermline.
The only man for the jobl f required id Big Ange so we can play again with a swagger.
