Video: New Bhoy Kyogo Furuhashi Scores For Vissel Kobe On His Farewell Appearance

Celtic announced the signing of Kyogo Furuhashi on social media yesterday morning, subject to international clearance. The transfer has Ange Postecoglou’s input written all over it, given his recent experience of working in Japanese football and Celtic supporters quickly became excited when researching the player. Indeed, it soon became apparent that the J1 League striker has a wonderful goalscoring record, an impressive highlights reel and comes with a glowing report from none other than football legend Andres Iniesta!

The formalities are yet to be complete, therefore Furuhashi is able to play for Vissel Kobe today, in what will hopefully be his farewell appearance for the club before arriving at Paradise.

It took the forward less than half an hour to get his name on the scoresheet with this goal after a cracking bit of play.

Something similar to that would be most welcome in the East End of Glasgow this season!
