Video: On This Day, Memories of Sligo Rovers Away in a Friendly Affair

ON THIS DAY, Celtic faced a trip to Ireland to play a friendly match against Sligo Rovers. On our final trip on this day, we look at a trip across the Irish sea to play at the Showgrounds.

The game was settled with a single goal from Rudi Vata as charity was the real winner that day. The game celebrated the roots of both clubs and put some money in the coffers of the Irish side.

Here are some memories from the trip to face Sligo.
