Fortunately, there is a wealth of footage available, which at first glance shows him to have a great knack of producing one touch finishes. What’s even more impressive is the variety of his goals. Indeed, he appears to enjoy chipping the goalkeeper but is equally comfortable slotting the ball to either side. With those types of predatory instincts, Furuhashi has the goalscoring style that is easily adaptable to all levels of the game.
See for yourself in the clip below:
Furuhashi has been capped six times for Japan and has scored three goals for the national team. His most recent domestic season has seen him bag 14 goals in 20 games and he has enjoyed a great relationship with the legendary Andres Iniesta, who was his teammate in the J1 League.
At 26 years of age, he should be coming into his prime now and is a versatile option as a left winger, who can also play as a striker/centre forward.
Welcome Kyogo!
Absolutely fantastic. A cross between Henke Larsson and Lubo Moravcik but with a bit more Larsson
