Celtic’s Owen Moffat scored an excellent goal yesterday afternoon for Celtic’s B team in the win over Dalbeattie Star. Tommy McIntyre’s team ran out 4-2 winners but Moffat scored a collector’s item goal, one that he will surely hope catches the attention of Ange Postecoglou.
The tricky winger takes a crossfield switch well and cuts inside before unleashing a fierce drive into the top corner of the goal. From the moment it left his right foot, you could see where it was headed.

It is an impressive result and it looks as if the option to have the B team playing regular, competitive football will help young players progress. Postecoglou, who will be focusing on today’s trip to Ibrox, will be pleased by the result and that Moffat is progressing. He will also see Karamoko Dembele managed to complete 90 mins as he looks to give him the chance to prove his worth before the end of the season.
