Video: Own goal, booked and a sub who was subbed – Disasterclass from Celtic target suggests they should look elsewhere

It’s never truly fair to judge a player on one performance, but Robbie Brady showed enough tonight to suggest that the recent rumours linking him to Celtic should not go any further.

Burnley’s game against Fulham was fairly quiet in the first half until Brady came on, but that didn’t exactly go in his own side’s favour.

He opened up with a few stupid fouls and then a booking which didn’t help, but then he gifted Fulham the opener with his piece of play on the line:

There’s debate over whether Brady gets awarded the own goal but it looks like he should, and it’s also very clear that he needs to be getting that ball clear.

It didn’t go much better after that as he looked like a red card waiting to happen, so he was hooked 25 minutes after coming on and there was no obvious suggestion of an injury either.

It might be best to pass on this one…
