Video: Polish Paddy’s U21s goal leaves questions about Neil Lennon’s match fitness claims

PATRYK KLIMALA netted for Poland’s U21s this evening. The 22-year-old joined Celtic in January and has made more of an impact at the start of the season than he did in the tail end of the last.

However, his goal in the game against Estonia leaves questions about Neil Lennon’s claim that the striker wasn’t match fit to start in either games against Ferencvaros or Motherwell.

It was a tidy finish from the striker, who has bulked up and shaved his head in the hope of terrifying defenders. What a difference it can make when you have a striker on the pitch and this was noticed when he was eventually subbed on versus Motherwell after the interval.
