Video – Revisiting Former Celt’s Goals On His Birthday

Stuart Armstrong turns 28 today. The Southampton midfielder, who originally joined Celtic from Dundee Utd, scored a number of goals in the Hoops. He had that rare ability to score stunning goals with either foot, doing so on a number of occasions, whilst he also scored big goals as well.

The below video exemplifies just that, as you can see crucial strikes in Glasgow derby matches, Europa League games against Inter Milan and the Invincible treble cup final.

Celtic got £7m for Armstrong’s departure and have continued to sweep up all domestic trophies. Though, some feel that his goals from midfield have yet to be replaced.

We wish him all the best, as he was a fine Celtic player in his short time at the club and a key part of making history as an Invincible.
