Video – Ridiculous Red: A Johnny Doyle Story

The Celtic Star recently published an article about a video that one of our writers, who hosts The Celtic History Podcast, produced. It was all about the Gallowgate’s Celtic connection, both historically and present, and it can be viewed by clicking HERE.

This week we bring you the next video in the series, which looks at the ridiculous red card that Johnny Doyle received against Ayr United in the late 1970s. Doyle was of course a hero with the Celtic faithful and had many other highs and lows at the club. The short production covers various parts of his Celtic career, combining still images with video footage, whilst there is commentary telling the story.

You can listen to all episodes of The Celtic History Podcast on various platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Anchor FM. Meanwhile, we will bring you the latest video footage as and when it is created.
