Video: Rodgers, Rogic and Jamesy “yeah no, as I said” Forrest

JAMES FORREST and TOM ROGIC were outstanding again yesterday in Celtic’s thrilling 4-2 win over Neil Lennon’s Hibernian side. The former Celtic manager seemed to be rather ungracious in defeat and claimed rather bizarrely that the referee was Celtic’s 12th man.

More that just about anyone in the game at the moment, Neil Lennon should understand just how foolish that particular statement sounded. Both Charlie Nicholas and Chris Sutton wrote columns during the International break saying that Neil Lennon would be the replacement if Brendan decides to move.

You would imagine that after yesterday’s outburst those making such decisions would have to think long and hard about that particular appointment should the need arise.

On the form Celtic showed at Perth and again yesterday – scoring 10 gaols in this two matches – you would think that after a difficult few months, Brendan Rodgers is once again enjoying the football his team is playing. He has his eyes set on 10IAR…here’s what Brendan had to say after the match on Celtic TV.

Anyway back to Forrest and Rogic, the two that have impressed the most in the wins against St Johnstone – where Forrest was Man of the Match – and Hibs yesterday, where Rogic got that recognition. What a goal that was!

Celtic TV released the post match interview with the two Celtic stars, with Jamesy starting with “yeh no, as I said”…
