Jota has given Celtic the lead in Germany after a stunning team goal. Ange Postecoglou’s side turned defence into attack in a flash with the Portuguese winger finishing brilliantly.
Joe Hart collected a cross before kicking an inch-perfect pass into the path of James Forrest, the winger linked up with his midfield colleagues and Celtic moved forward with stunning speed. Leverkusen thought that Jeremie Frimpong would stand firm but the ex-Celtic full-back slipped at the crucial stage, allowing Kyogo to play the ball into the path of Jota, who sent a stunning effort beyond Hradecky.

It was a truly remarkable goal from Celtic, one that Ange will be delighted at. The team have taken the game to Leverkusen; although they will need to concentrate as there is still a lot of football to be played.
