CELTIC as expected have this morning confirmed the signing of Irish international defender Shane Duffy on a season long loan deal from Brighton. And Duffy has been speaking to Irish FA TV about his dream move. “I don’t need a reason to go to Celtic” Duffy said but pointed out that the chance to help win Ten-in-a-Row and be part of history was too good to miss!
“It’s something I’ve always dreamed of and it’s a special moment for me,” ย Duffy said. ย “It’s all I knew growing up and I’m really excited. It’s took a little while to get it done, but I’m over the moon.”

โI really am delighted to sign this deal with Celtic. It is a huge honour for me to join Celtic, such a huge institution and a brilliant football club that I have always loved and admired,” Duffy told the official Celtic site.

And after what has been a very difficult week or so for the club in general and Neil Lennon in particular, the Celtic manager was clearly pleased to have got this significant signing over the line.
