Video – Soro’s Eyes on the Big Prize as Lawwell orders another Treble

CELTIC TV’s latest video is a behind the scenes look at the arrival in Scotland of new midfielder Ismaila Soro. From his arrival at Glasgow Airport, his first journey to Celtic Park – and the look on his face is quite clear, he was impressed – to signing his contract, an interview with Gerry McCulloch on Celtic TV, some photos then the next day out at Lennoxtown – in the snow – and heading out to training with fellow Ivorian, Bayo. It’s a great wee video and well worth the watch.

The one aspect of the video we didn’t mention above was Soro’s Trophy Room tour from Peter Lawwell who pointed to the League Cup and said ‘we’ve already won this” one then pointing to the Premiership Trophy and the Scottish Cup he told his new £2million signing that the plan was to win these two again too.

Soro though had his eyes on another trophy just to the right of the Scottish Cup – the European Cup that Celtic win in May 1967. The 21 year old’s eye lit up as he mimicked lifting the trophy just like Cesar did all those years ago.
