Video: St Mirren down to ten men but VAR overturns Celtic penalty

Charles Dunne made a mess with the pass back to Trevor Carson, Kyogo got behind him and the central defender hauled the Japanese striker to the ground before he could get a shot away.

David Dickinson had no option but to send the Irish defender off and point to the spot. VAR looked at the incident to judge whether it was inside or outside of the box. Andrew Dallas, without telling Dickinson to look himself, said that it should be a free-kick and not a penalty.

The score remaining 1-0 as we approach half-time with Celtic not facing the ten men, who are even more defensively minded than they were at the start of the game.
