There’s been a lot of talk this week about bad tackles in Scottish Football with players going in with their studs up, and it looks like Stephen Welsh could be the latest one.
Jon Obika was given a yellow card for the foul and it did look a little innocuous on first viewing, but the replay shows just how nasty this tackle was:

He had to be stretchered off and it comes at the worst time as he was working his way into the team, so hopefully he’s able to make a quick recovery.
