Video: Strachan and Stubbs back Eddie Howe to be a success at Celtic

Former Celtic manager Gordon Strachan and former defender Alan Stubbs have said that Eddie Howe could be a fantastic appointment for Celtic and bring success to the club if he is appointed. Strachan mentioned a few of the strengths of Howe’s teams over the years and how that’ll benefit Celtic whilst Stubbs looked to the development that Howe has overseen at Bournemouth, bringing through players and selling them on.

Both former employees of the club were united in saying that if the deal is completed it could be good for Celtic. Howe is the favourite and it is believed that a deal has been provisionally agreed with the 43-year-old. However, as not to tempt fate, Strachan said that the club should be speaking to other options in case of any unforeseen consequence occurring.
