LANA DEL REY has covered the Gerry and the Pacemakers’ hit ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’. The 1963 anthem is commonly shared between Celtic and Liverpool and the American singer-songwriter has uploaded a black and white video of her singing the song on her instagram.
The song is being used for a new documentary on English Champions Liverpool; however, the Scottish Champions have enjoyed the anthem as well, becoming renowned for their own rousing performance before big games – usually European nights.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the song has also been used as a song for hope and support for those that have risked their lives to protect us.
