Video: The class of Brendan Rodgers and Celtic’s Double Treble Winners

Celtic won the Double Treble beating Motherwell 2-0 in the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden back in 2018. Brendan Rodgers’ side often struggled against The Well due to their robust defence and dogged midfield, all working towards affording chances to Louis Moult in attack. However, having beaten them in the League Cup Final, Celtic knew that they would make history by becoming the first team to win back-to-back Trebles.

Goals from Callum McGregor and Olivier Ntcham sealed the trophy for Celtic in what was a composed and dominant display. Yet before the game, we were able to see the class of Brendan Rodgers. The Irishman’s unity and standards were a big part of the success that we enjoyed. Rodgers, Scott Brown and Chris Davies are seen motivating the players before kick off but it is the manager’s words that leave a lasting impression.

The game sparked some glorious scenes of jubilation as the team made their way back to Celtic Park to celebrate.
