The lyrics, set to the tune of The Carpenters’ Top Of The World song, have been heard by the Celtic faithful in the past.
Patricia Ferns even recorded a version back in the early 2000s, a tribute to the club’s changing fortunes under the management of Martin O’Neill. It features as a pre-amble to the Henrik Larsson ‘Give me joy in my heart’ song, in the video below.
Celtic now need to ensure that the song is still being sung at the end of May.
