On This Day in 2023, Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic beat Rangers to win the League Cup. The Australian gave a rousing pre-match speech to the players ahead of the game, which inspired them to run for the fans, their teammates and their families.
In footage released by the club at the end of the season, fans were able to go behind the scenes and hear the inspiring words from Ange that showed the mindset that made him and his team so successful in the two years at the club.

Celtic won the game 2-1 thanks to Kyogo Furuhashi’s brace in what was an excellent afternoon for the Hoops.
