Video: Three Years Ago Today We Saw The Emergence Of Odsonne Edouard, Now It’s Time To Re-emerge

It was on this day in 2017 that Odsonne Edouard asserted himself on this Celtic team by scoring a hat-trick against Motherwell.

A loanee at that stage, the man from PSG hadn’t been given too many opportunities thanks to the outstanding form of Moussa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths.

Brendan Rodgers made a few changes ahead of this match and French Eddy stamped his authority as a top striker, in a match which Celtic won 5-1.

Just look at the movement and enthusiasm from him. We need to see a re-emergence of that player again. It’s in Edouard’s interests to show he wasn’t just a flash in the pan too.
