Video: Tom Rogic in tears as he makes final Paradise appearance

Tom Rogic has made his final appearance for Celtic in an emotional afternoon at Paradise. The Australian will leave the club this summer, as announced by the club yesterday.

The 29-year-old was replaced by James McCarthy as a filled Paradise paid farewell to the modern great. The occasion appeared to be too much for the ice-cold Rogic, who was in tears as he exited the field.

His teammates came and hugged him as he went off to the applause of the support. He then embraced his manager. It was an emotional moment for everyone, especially because of the fine moments that Rogic has been part of and produced himself.

Absolute quality team spirit there. The way every player came from every position in the park to congratulate him, and then the players waiting to come, and finally with big Ange himself. Would bring a tear to a glass eye.

Celtic have never losses when Nir Bitton has worn the captains armband.

Nir Bitton has averaged 1 trophy for every 15 games played.

Both players have been remarkable and have earned “Legend” status without any question of doubt.

    God Bless you Tom Rogic.
