Video – Transfer Latest from Neil Lennon’s Media Conference ahead of Celtic v Hamilton

Here is Neil Lennon’s Media Conference today in full as the Celtic manager admits that he’s much calmer than last week and gave some insight into what’s likely to happen in the last few days of the transfer January window. Lennon confirmed our story this morning that Jeremie Frimpong is in Germany ahead of a £11.5m move to Bayer Leverkusen, confirming that the player had made it clear that he wanted to leave Celtic.

Lennon suggested that Celtic are looking at bringing in a right back before the transfer window closes and expects one or two arrivals – but those will be loan deals or player available for very small fees.

He also pointed out that there has been no enquiries about Odsonne Edouard who he expect to be at Celtic when the window closes. Indeed no other departures are expected but that can change if bids are made as the winter window nears its end.

The fall-out from Dubai- an entirely self-inflicted wound on the Celtic season – is still being blamed for the team being decimated in the games against Hibs and Livingston at home, while the games against theRangers (annoying referred to by the Celtic manager as The Old Firm game) and Livingston away were regarded as being unlucky as Celtic were the better team and deserved to win both games.

Have a listen…
