Video: TV Microphone Picks Up Furious Postecoglou’s Sideline Shout

Ange Postecoglou’s teams are renowned for their fast, exciting and attacking style of play.

Already this season, his Celtic squad have earned a reputation for being breathtaking to watch at times. Only poor finishing has prevented opponents from getting a serious trouncing thus far.

In spite of his blueprint, Celtic were flat today. A passage of play in the first half showed the ball being passed out of defence and then returned to Stephen Welsh, who played the ball back to his goalkeeper.

At first glance this appears to be a perfectly normal and acceptable passage of play. However, Postecoglou can be heard furiously screaming in disapproval. After a couple of frustrated swear words escaped, he either insisted “Let’s effing attack!” or “Stop passing it back!” You be the judge!

It shows the passion he has for the game and the unrelenting desire he has for his players to entertain the support.

Players know that it’s nothing personal and he simply demands the best at all times.
