Video: Unique Angle as the Champions maintain nine point lead at Ibrox

Celtic have maintained their nine-point lead at the top of the Cinch Premiership with a 2-2 draw against Rangers at Ibrox.

Daizen Maeda opened the scoring for Celtic with an excellent finish. The Japanese Internationalist capitalised on a loose pass from Alfredo Morelos, allowing Maeda to push through, beat James Tavernier and fire the ball beyond Allan McGregor.

Rangers started well in the second half, buoyed on by Celtic’s forced substitution of Greg Taylor. Ryan Kent scored with a tidy finish but Josip Juranovic should’ve done better against Fashion Sakala. Rangers went ahead after Carl Starfelt was adjudged to have fouled Sakala. James Tavernier made no mistake from the spot.

Kyogo grabbed a crucial equaliser for Celtic with a composed finish in the dying stages of the game at Ibrox. Aaron Mooy was picked out by Jota, who worked together to get the ball to Giakoumakis, who had his shot blocked only for the Japanese striker to strike the ball high into the net.
