Celtic might score better goals that the one headed home by Anthony Ralston in the last seconds of stoppage time in Dingwall last night to secure the win and give the Hoops the three points. Come May we may well be talking about this goal more than any other as the most significant of the lot in terms of Celtic winning the league.
There are times when you reckon the league title could be won or indeed lost and a 1-1 draw against Ross County as was being prematurely celebrated by the mainstream media and those fans gathered outside Ibrox front door after their win over St Johnstone would have been significant for those looking for theRangers to retain their title.
It wasn’t to be thanks to the never say die attitude of the ten men of Celtic, the composure of the captain Callum McGregor to send the ball wide to Tom Rogic, the most graceful footballer in the Scottish game. His quality to put it onto Tony Ralston’s forehead and his desire and conviction to head the ball powerfully into the back of the Ross County net to win the match for Celtic. Everyone will remember this goal come next May…
If Celtic are to comment on referees, a video if this guys honest mistakes..neither honest nor mistakes…should be put together and widely shared before being publicly presented tothe SFA. Then again we don’t need Celtic to do that. https://t.co/NsphDIwai5
