Video: Watch Celtic B Team hammer Rangers in Glasgow Cup

Celtic won 2-1 at Easter Road on Wednesday night in the Scottish Premiership and Celtic FC Women had their own away win on the same night, beating Motherwell 2-0 at K Park in East Kilbride in the SWPL1.  However the best result and Celtic performance of the day happened earlier in the day up at Lennoxtown where Celtic B Team defeated theRangers in the Glasgow Cup.

The highlights have been released of the Glasgow Cup win over theRangers via Celtic TV and this video is well worth watching as Celtic ran out comfortable 3-0 winners in a dominant performance, with some quick and intelligent football that we’d love to see the first team playing!

Two quick-fire goals from Daniel Cummings and Ben Quinn in the first half handed the Hoops a well-deserved advantage before the break, with the win sealed by Jude Bonnar early in the second half. The Glasgow Cup holders began their defence of the trophy by welcoming Glasgow rivals theRangers. And from the off it was clear there was going to be one winner, with the Celts dominating and Bruno Davidson looking threatening every time he got the ball.

It was a superb all-round performance from the young Celtic side, who came away with three points and a clean sheet to kick-off their Glasgow Cup campaign.

CELTIC B TEAM: Clarke, Donovan, Mackenzie, Agbaire, Robertson, Ure, Davidson (Kyle 65), Thomson (McArdle 8), Cummings (Dobbie 65), Bonnar (Turley 77), Quinn. Subs: Morrison, Osagie, Bonetig
