Video: Watch Hoops train at Lennoxtown ahead of tricky Paisley trip

Celtic were hard at work today at Lennoxtown in preparation for their cinch Premiership League clash with St Mirren in Paisley come Sunday afternoon. Fresh off the back of their glorious 2-1 win over theRangers in the Viaplay League Cup Final the same day last weekend, Ange Postecoglou and his troops are focussed on another chance for three points in the Scottish Premiership.

The Bhoys are riding high the crest of a wave prsently and with one domestic honour in the bag already, it has only whet the appetite of the players, staff, and supporters for even more under Ange Postecoglou. There is still plenty more to do nut as the mantra goes: We Never Stop!

Tomorrow holds a more significant meaning than usual for Ange and the team, for it was at Paisley way back in September of this season that we succumbed to our only defeat in the League. It was a poor performance all round that day against the Buddies and showcased just how astute a coach and manager Stephen Robinson is.

There is no chance of the Hoops underestimating them this time though, as despite two recent wins over the Northern Irishman and his side with comfortable four and five goal wins, the pitfalls of not showing up were there to see that fateful day at the beginning of the new season of 2022/23, and Ange will have no doubt as to the dangers St Mirren pose tomorrow.

Meanwhile, watch the Hoops train ahead of tomorrow’s meeting with St Mirren…

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
