Videos: Celtic Glasgow, The Loudest Half Time Show In Britain

Celtic supporters have long been famed as some of the noisiest in Europe, when it comes to Champions League nights, Derby days and away matches. Last weekend’s Viaplay Cup Final threw up the perfect occasion to showcase our support.

Celtic took the lead shortly before half time and as the Rangers end fell silent, the Bhoys started up a simple yet effective chant of Celtic Glasgow. As the Green Brigade joined and the song swept across the tens of thousands of ecstatic Celtic fans jumping around the Hampden terracing, the sound got louder and louder.

The half time whistle did little to abate the bedlam as the song continued through the entire half time break, with the whole end bouncing, fireworks being set off and pyrotechnics providing a layer of fog in front of the stands.

Here’s a collection of the scenes – the loudest half time interval witnessed on British shores.
